Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After some careless play in the Peacehaven defense, Carlton Inman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Spike Sharpe. The Peacehaven fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Spike Sharpe should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Peacehaven's Jeff Maginnis got a free kick in the 8th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pierce Porter got free with Spike Sharpe in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 18 minutes, Carlton Inman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Workington's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlton Inman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Don Griffiths showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiera Holt in the 20th minute of the match. After 22 minutes of play, Peacehaven's Peter Longley made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Don Griffiths was left in no man's land by his defense there! Don Griffiths came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Peacehaven's Kiera Holt. But to his dismay, Kiera Holt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Spike Sharpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlton Inman, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Peter Longley took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Don Griffiths. Don Griffiths dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 38 minutes into the match, Workington's goal looked a bit too open when Jeff Maginnis came free, but Don Griffiths reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Workington's goalkeeper Don Griffiths, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Don Griffiths showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiera Holt in the 44th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Kiera Holt made a precise shot to the right of Don Griffiths. Workington's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. The Workington players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Peacehaven were winning 1-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peter Longley to strike the kick off in the second half. Don Griffiths took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Longley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kirk Lightbody received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Don Griffiths tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kiera Holt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Don Griffiths made a huge save. Kiera Holt came free with the goalkeeper in the 96th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Don Griffiths could save by the left post. When the match was over Peacehaven could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Workington throughout the match.
