Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vance Pennant took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, Oadby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sean Topham to maneuver through the defense. Vance Pennant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Kamil Grabara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Seth Crawshaw ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paul Wardle was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 14th minute Seth Crawshaw shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Wardle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 15 minutes, Johnnie England managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oadby's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johnnie England was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Seth Crawshaw had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paul Wardle. Ledbury's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Seth Crawshaw was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Joshua Mansfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paul Wardle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Seth Crawshaw, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Oadby's goal looked a bit too open when Jamal Atkinson came free, but Kamil Grabara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerome Layfield in the 31st minute of play forced Ledbury's goalkeeper Paul Wardle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paul Wardle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seth Crawshaw in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Seth Crawshaw notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Ledbury's Paul Wardle. Paul Wardle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Joshua Mansfield managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oadby's supporters rose to their feet, but Joshua Mansfield was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paul Wardle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 38 played minutes Oadby got a freekick which was hit by Johnnie England. The audience was convinced that Seth Crawshaw's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paul Wardle was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Seth Crawshaw to strike the kick off in the second half. Ledbury's Paul Wardle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Ledbury from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Ledbury's zone, Jerome Layfield stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Wardle came out of the goal and Jerome Layfield tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Seth Crawshaw recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ledbury's Paul Wardle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joshua Mansfield in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Seth Crawshaw ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paul Wardle was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Paul Wardle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerome Layfield in the 68th minute of the match. When Vance Pennant fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ledbury's protests and gave Vance Pennant a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ledbury's Vance Pennant got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the last second Paul Wardle throw himself and got hold of the ball when Jerome Layfield in the 70thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Oadby made a substitution. Martyn Jennings replaced Joshua Mansfield. After taking down the ball on Oadby's corner Willie Dowie fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Paul Wardle quite easily take care of the ball. Paul Wardle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seth Crawshaw, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrick Venables kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Seth Crawshaw could shoot a difficult shot in the 78th minute, which Paul Wardle however easily saved by the left post. Ledbury's Paul Wardle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Ledbury from getting a goal against them. Jamal Atkinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ledbury's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Seth Crawshaw scored to the left of an out of position Paul Wardle, making the score, 0-5. 87 minutes into the match, Ledbury's goal looked a bit too open when Seth Crawshaw came free, but Paul Wardle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paul Wardle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnnie England in the 88th minute of the match. Paul Wardle made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Seth Crawshaw sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over Oadby could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ledbury throughout the match.
