Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gerry Hutchinson kicked off to start the match. Jimmy Seaward showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vance Pennant, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 4 minutes, Paul Wardle successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 5th minute, Damien Higgins reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paul Wardle. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 9th minute of the match Jamal Atkinson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jimmy Seaward skillfully saved the ball. Ledbury's Paul Wardle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Seth Sheridan in the 10th minute of play. Vance Pennant received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Jimmy Seaward tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ledbury's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jamal Atkinson in the 20th minute. Jimmy Seaward showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vance Pennant, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vance Pennant in the 33rd minute of play forced Waterloo and South Bank's goalkeeper Jimmy Seaward to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimmy Seaward didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vance Pennant went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Damien Higgins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Paul Wardle made a huge save. Paul Wardle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damien Higgins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute Andrew Blanchflower shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Wardle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Seth Sheridan hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Waterloo and South Bank's Vince Middlewood got a free kick in the 48th minute. Jimmy Seaward showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jamal Atkinson in the 49th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Vance Pennant made the kick off in the second half. Jimmy Seaward came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Ledbury's Jamal Atkinson. But to his dismay, Jamal Atkinson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Damien Higgins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Wardle having to interfere. In the 64th minute Andrew Blanchflower shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Wardle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paul Wardle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrew Blanchflower, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the game, Timothy Bramble was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ledbury's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Waterloo and South Bank the free kick. In the 67th match minute, Ledbury was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timothy Bramble to maneuver through the defense. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrew Blanchflower couldn't finish the play. 75 minutes into the game, Andrew Blanchflower cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Paul Wardle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andrew Blanchflower received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Paul Wardle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damien Higgins scored 5-3 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paul Wardle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Waterloo and South Bank getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Seth Sheridan hit a great ball. Jamal Atkinson hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Andrew Blanchflower recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jimmy Seaward showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Venables in the 95th minute of the match. A collision led to Ledbury getting a freekick after 99 minutes play. Vance Pennant hit a great ball.
