Marcus King made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blair Neill in the 8th minute of play. Marcus King made an important save on a dangerous shot by 许俊鸿 in the 9th minute. The supporters of Gomersal AFC booed when Yapton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geoff McParland didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Gomersal AFC's 许俊鸿 slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcus King. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. 许俊鸿 succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 16th playminute. 20 minutes into the game, Gomersal AFC's 许俊鸿 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcus King made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Marcus King made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Blair Neill sent off a good shot on target. Yapton's Marcus King proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Yapton from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes into the match, Yapton's goalkeeper Marcus King had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 许俊鸿. Marcus King showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anderson Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Gomersal AFC's Millan Matas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. Marcus King came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Gomersal AFC's Anderson Pernambucano. But to his dismay, Anderson Pernambucano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After 41 minutes of play, Gomersal AFC's Anderson Pernambucano made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcus King was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute of the match, Dan Rashleigh got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcus King was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 48th minute Blair Neill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus King saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciarán Jones was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Gomersal AFC's 许俊鸿 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcus King made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. 55 minutes into the match, Anderson Pernambucano notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Yapton's Marcus King. Marcus King was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcus King didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Blair Neill went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Archie Vine in the 63rd minute of play forced Yapton's goalkeeper Marcus King to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Millan Matas in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus King prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st minute, Anderson Pernambucano made a precise shot to the right of Marcus King. Yapton's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. After 74 minutes of play, Gomersal AFC's 许俊鸿 made it 12-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcus King was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marcus King made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 许俊鸿 in the 77th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Yapton's Geoff McParland got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Anderson Pernambucano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gomersal AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 13-0. Marcus King didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anderson Pernambucano went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 14-0 was the resulting score. 85 minutes into the match, Yapton's goal looked a bit too open when 许俊鸿 came free, but Marcus King reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Archie Vine kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, 许俊鸿 put it in 15-0 from a short distance just to the right of Marcus King. In the 91st minute Blair Neill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus King saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Archie Vine cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 16-0. Marcus King was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Gomersal AFC were the better team. Gomersal AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
