The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mbaka Mbabaotu in the 4th minute of play forced Tenbury Wells's goalkeeper Greg Reddington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 played minutes Autocares Vázquez Olmedo got a freekick which was hit by Bobby Wilson. Andrew Greenwood kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Austin Trueman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Tenbury Wells's goal looked a bit too open when Kiera Archer came free, but Greg Reddington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Greg Reddington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mbaka Mbabaotu in the 40th minute of play. In the 45thth minute of the game Mbaka Mbabaotu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tenbury Wells's Greg Reddington was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Tenbury Wells players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Autocares Vázquez Olmedo were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mbaka Mbabaotu was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Mbaka Mbabaotu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Greg Reddington. Mbaka Mbabaotu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Mbaka Mbabaotu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Autocares Vázquez Olmedo booed when Tenbury Wells was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bob Garforth didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ash Taylor received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Greg Reddington came out and tried to block the shot, but Ash Taylor slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 61st minute. A hard shot 65 in the game by Mbaka Mbabaotu from a close distance when the talented Greg Reddington managed to make a qualified save. Tenbury Wells's players were relieved. Greg Reddington was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Mbaka Mbabaotu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mbaka Mbabaotu really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. 73 minutes into the match, Mbaka Mbabaotu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Greg Reddington, 0-7. Autocares Vázquez Olmedo's Mbaka Mbabaotu got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Tenbury Wells's zone, Mbaka Mbabaotu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Greg Reddington came out of the goal and Mbaka Mbabaotu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute, Tenbury Wells's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mbaka Mbabaotu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 91st minute of the match Wilfried Stekelenburg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Greg Reddington skillfully saved the ball. Autocares Vázquez Olmedo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
