In the 10th minute, Ali Vedat Kabataş got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 14thth minute of the game Jack Howarth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garstang AFC's Nigel Hill was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Anselmo Spione's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rupert Clamp was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Rupert Clamp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anselmo Spione's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Anselmo Spione struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Rupert Clamp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garstang AFC. Rupert Clamp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Vedat Kabataş in the 30th minute of play. When Anselmo Spione came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Garstang AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Spione couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jack Howarth in the 34th minute of play forced Garstang AFC's goalkeeper Nigel Hill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 minutes, Anselmo Spione mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garstang AFC and the Islington players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 34 played minutes Garstang AFC got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Spione. Nigel Hill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Howarth in the 35th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Islington got a freekick which was hit by Sly Rashleigh. Nigel Hill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seth Andrews in the 40th minute of play. In the 47th minute Sly Rashleigh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nigel Hill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Islington were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Seth Andrews made the kick off in the second half. Ali Vedat Kabataş scored 1-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rupert Clamp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nigel Hill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seth Andrews in the 57th minute of play. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Ali Vedat Kabataş sped through Islington's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rupert Clamp. Nigel Hill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Seth Andrews in the 66th minute of the match. Rupert Clamp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Vedat Kabataş, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Anselmo Spione managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garstang AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anselmo Spione was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rupert Clamp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luke Chambers kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Nigel Hill acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 89th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kev Flynn. Anselmo Spione hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Nigel Hill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seth Andrews in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Garstang AFC fully deserved thier win.
