Marlon Mumford received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Greg Reddington came out and tried to block the shot, but Marlon Mumford slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 11th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 14 minutes, Greg Reddington successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ergün Senih struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Greg Reddington didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Flamengo. Kenny Wicks kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Jimmy Stiles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Flamengo's Ergün Senih dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marlon Mumford in the 31st minute of play forced Tenbury Wells's goalkeeper Greg Reddington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ergün Senih came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Greg Reddington could save by the left post. 34 minutes into the match, Freddie Boston had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Greg Reddington. Tenbury Wells's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Freddie Boston was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. If Ergün Senih had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Ergün Senih took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Greg Reddington to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Tenbury Wells's zone, Freddie Boston stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Greg Reddington came out of the goal and Freddie Boston tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Flamengo's Menderes Özdoa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Greg Reddington. That made the score 7-0 after 44 minutes of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Austin Trueman was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Ergün Senih had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Greg Reddington. Tenbury Wells's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ergün Senih was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. In the 59th minute, Ergün Senih ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Greg Reddington was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. Greg Reddington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ergün Senih, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67thth minute of the game Ergün Senih who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tenbury Wells's Greg Reddington was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ergün Senih blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Greg Reddington having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Menderes Özdoa in the 70th minute of play forced Tenbury Wells's goalkeeper Greg Reddington to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Tenbury Wells's goal looked a bit too open when Ergün Senih came free, but Greg Reddington reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Greg Reddington didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ergün Senih went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. In the 81st minute, Ergün Senih made a precise shot to the right of Greg Reddington. Tenbury Wells's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. Bob Garforth hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Greg Reddington made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddie Boston in the 84th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bob Garforth during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Flamengo booed when Tenbury Wells was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bob Garforth didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute Freddie Boston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greg Reddington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Ergün Senih ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Greg Reddington was frozen by the shot and now it was 14-0. If Freddie Boston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Flamengo had played much better football throughout.
