Spectators: 10990 (Terracing: 8244, Seating: 2527, VIP seats: 219) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Stuart Banks kicked off to start the match. If Stuart Banks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Phillip Woodhall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stuart Banks in the 4th minute of play. In the 4th match minute, Memphis Grizzlies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romeo Crocker to maneuver through the defense. Terry Mayfield could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Mattias Sawyer made a huge save. Terry Mayfield in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mattias Sawyer, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 8 minutes into the match, Cheadle's goal looked a bit too open when Ty Hislop came free, but Phillip Woodhall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When 严朋昆 came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Cheadle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 严朋昆 couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stuart Banks in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Phillip Woodhall prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Memphis Grizzlies's Grant Andrews got a free kick in the 27th minute. Alan da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Sawyer having to interfere. Mattias Sawyer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Blackwater, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 36 minutes into the match, Memphis Grizzlies's goalkeeper Mattias Sawyer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alan da Fonseca. Stuart Banks took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Phillip Woodhall. Phillip Woodhall dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Stuart Banks struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Phillip Woodhall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Memphis Grizzlies. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alan da Fonseca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Memphis Grizzlies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grant Andrews to maneuver through the defense. In the 54thth minute of the game Stuart Banks who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cheadle's Phillip Woodhall was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Phillip Woodhall came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Memphis Grizzlies's Ty Hislop. But to his dismay, Ty Hislop quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 63rd minute, Lloyd Mumford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Memphis Grizzlies made a substitution. Ian Prutton replaced Billy Watkinson. Phillip Woodhall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ty Hislop's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Memphis Grizzlies's Ty Hislop slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Phillip Woodhall. That made the score 0-5 after 67 minutes of play. The supporters of Cheadle booed when Memphis Grizzlies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jack Greenfield didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Cheadle's goal looked a bit too open when Ty Hislop came free, but Phillip Woodhall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cheadle's Phillip Woodhall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ty Hislop in the 74th minute of play. Cheadle's attentive Mikael Rolandsson managed to snatch the ball when Grant Andrews made a throw-in in the 76th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ty Hislop in the 79th minute of play forced Cheadle's goalkeeper Phillip Woodhall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Cheadle's goalkeeper Phillip Woodhall had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ty Hislop. After some careless play in the Cheadle defense, Ty Hislop kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Phillip Woodhall. The Cheadle fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Phillip Woodhall should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd play minute Ty Hislop came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Phillip Woodhall. 0-7.
