Spectators: 10842 (Terracing: 8133, Seating: 2493, VIP seats: 216) Flamengo's Ergün Senih started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Rory Trimble shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nigel Hill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ergün Senih took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nigel Hill. Nigel Hill dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 8th minute, Freddie Boston left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Flamengo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The supporters of Flamengo booed when Garstang AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milosz Literski didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Freddie Boston came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Flamengo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Freddie Boston couldn't finish the play. After 19 minutes, Milosz Literski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garstang AFC and the Flamengo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 minutes of play, Flamengo's Ergün Senih made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nigel Hill was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Garstang AFC's goalkeeper Nigel Hill, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Flamengo's 柯誉海 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Flamengo from getting a goal against them. After having played for 28 minutes, Kris Jewson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garstang AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kris Jewson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marlon Mumford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nigel Hill having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Ergün Senih made a precise shot to the right of Nigel Hill. Garstang AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. When Marlon Mumford came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Flamengo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marlon Mumford couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute, Marlon Mumford made a precise shot to the right of Nigel Hill. Garstang AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kris Jewson to strike the kick off in the second half. When Ergün Senih fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flamengo's protests and gave Ergün Senih a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Flamengo getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Ergün Senih hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kris Jewson in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 柯誉海 saved Flamengo from getting behind. Keith Ripley, 54 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 0-7 became the score in the 55th minute when Rain Kuusk elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Freddie Boston scored 0-8 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nigel Hill, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nigel Hill was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ergün Senih showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 66 minute of play. Kris Jewson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Garstang AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Rory Trimble scored to the left of an out of position Nigel Hill, making the score, 0-10. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marlon Mumford in the 79th minute of play forced Garstang AFC's goalkeeper Nigel Hill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nigel Hill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marlon Mumford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Garstang AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Freddie Boston fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 83 minutes, Ergün Senih made it 0-11 with a short kick to the right side. Garstang AFC's Nigel Hill tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rory Trimble charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rory Trimble the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rory Trimble hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Ergün Senih took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nigel Hill. Nigel Hill dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-12. Flamengo played a much better game than Garstang AFC and deserved their victory. The Garstang AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
