Flamengo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Memphis Grizzlies the free kick. 14 minutes into the match, Flamengo's goal looked a bit too open when Ty Hislop came free, but 柯誉海 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ty Hislop sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Rory Trimble's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mattias Sawyer was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Mattias Sawyer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marlon Mumford in the 21st minute of play. After 26 minutes, Romeo Crocker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Flamengo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Memphis Grizzlies's Romeo Crocker got a free kick in the 26th minute. Memphis Grizzlies's Mattias Sawyer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rory Trimble in the 31st minute of play. Mattias Sawyer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rory Trimble, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd match minute, Memphis Grizzlies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Jones to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, Flamengo's goal looked a bit too open when Ty Hislop came free, but 柯誉海 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 played minutes Flamengo got a freekick which was hit by Lopez Riopedre. After having played for 46 minutes, Ty Hislop managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Memphis Grizzlies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ty Hislop was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ty Hislop made a kick off. 柯誉海 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ty Hislop, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ty Hislop's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 柯誉海 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Memphis Grizzlies's Jack Greenfield was substituted for Ian Prutton. Memphis Grizzlies made a substitution. Vinicio Carballeira replaced Ty Hislop. Lopez Riopedre made in the 62nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Rain Kuusk however managed to control. Flamengo's 柯誉海 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Carballeira in the 65th minute of play. Silvan Bragger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zabal Aizpurua got a throw-in 75 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Andrew Gillespie. The supporters of Memphis Grizzlies booed when Flamengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zabal Aizpurua didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80thth minute of the game Vinicio Carballeira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flamengo's 柯誉海 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Romeo Crocker kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. When Vinicio Carballeira came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Memphis Grizzlies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vinicio Carballeira couldn't finish the play.
