Spectators: 6773 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1773, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Boethis Cooney started the match with the kick off. If Berke Jameson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Kevin McBjarton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Berke Jameson in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baine Ramsey saved Derryheena from getting behind. Boethis Cooney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Brann McPaul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bran Lavine kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. If Beglan Tracy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baine Ramsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reginald McJames in the 24th minute of the match. If Berke Jameson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beglan Tracy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brann McPaul having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Berke Jameson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clonona's supporters rose to their feet, but Berke Jameson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baine Ramsey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baine Ramsey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin McBjarton, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Kevin McBjarton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clonona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin McBjarton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Berke Jameson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 40 minutes, Kevin McBjarton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clonona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin McBjarton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Berke Jameson in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baine Ramsey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brakawn Hutton kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Baine Ramsey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berke Jameson, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Berke Jameson was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Derryheena's goal looked a bit too open when Berke Jameson came free, but Baine Ramsey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes in the game, Berke Jameson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Baine Ramsey having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Berke Jameson took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Baine Ramsey to make any attempt to save it. If Kevin McBjarton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beglan Tracy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brann McPaul having to interfere. Brann McPaul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boethis Cooney in the 79th minute of play. After some careless play in the Derryheena defense, Kevin McBjarton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baine Ramsey. The Derryheena fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baine Ramsey should have stopped the shot. Brann McPaul came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Derryheena's Boethis Cooney. But to his dismay, Boethis Cooney quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 91st minute, Kevin McBjarton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baine Ramsey was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Berke Jameson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baine Ramsey having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Clonona left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Derryheena.
