Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sameer Gollogley took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sameer Gollogley scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hayes Hutton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Sameer Gollogley came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Drumdowney fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sameer Gollogley couldn't finish the play. Hayes Hutton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tory Ryan in the 9th minute of play. Ricard Scully might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hayes Hutton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricard Scully ran back to his position shaking his head. 13 minutes into the game, Drumdowney's Ricard Scully nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hayes Hutton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Bradagain Byrne charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bradagain Byrne the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 18 minutes into the match, Sameer Gollogley notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Liatroim's Hayes Hutton. Hayes Hutton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 21 minutes into the match, Liatroim's goal looked a bit too open when Ricard Scully came free, but Hayes Hutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tory Ryan in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hayes Hutton saved Liatroim from getting behind. 27 minutes into the match, Liatroim's goal looked a bit too open when Tory Ryan came free, but Hayes Hutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Drumdowney getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Ricard Scully hit a great ball. Flann Byrne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradagain Byrne in the 32nd minute of play. Ricard Scully sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 37 minutes of play, Drumdowney's Sameer Gollogley made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hayes Hutton was left in no man's land by his defense there! Liatroim's Hayes Hutton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sameer Gollogley in the 42nd minute of play. Hayes Hutton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boethis Dalton in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Liatroim's goal looked a bit too open when Sameer Gollogley came free, but Hayes Hutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Shey McWill to make the kick off. Drumdowney's Sameer Gollogley came free and shot a quick shot against goal 53 minutes in the game, fortunately Hayes Hutton had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Liatroim's goalkeeper Hayes Hutton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 68th minute, Sameer Gollogley fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hayes Hutton, passed just outside the right post. After 69 minutes, Lewis McTom mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Liatroim and the Drumdowney players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Drumdowney booed when Liatroim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lewis McTom didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricard Scully struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Hayes Hutton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Drumdowney. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Ricard Scully sped through Liatroim's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hayes Hutton. Hayes Hutton made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Sameer Gollogley sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Liatroim getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Lewis McTom hit a great ball. Hayes Hutton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricard Scully in the 84th minute of play. Ricard Scully had several of the Liatroim's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 85 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-6 score and a disappointed Hayes Hutton as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ricard Scully succeeded in the game's 89th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-7. Hayes Hutton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricard Scully, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. When the match was over Drumdowney could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Liatroim throughout the match.
