Trien Willson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tathan McFrank received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Louis Walker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bourns Hamilton hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Brenainn Gough took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beltany McPhilip, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Louis Walker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tathan McFrank, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. When Donoghue McTommy came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Crosskeel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donoghue McTommy couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute, Blanaid Gallagher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, Beltany McPhilip got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 69 minutes into the match, Donoghue McTommy notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Knockatee's Brenainn Gough. Brenainn Gough was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 71st minute, Rordan Dillon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75thth minute of the game Tathan McFrank who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Crosskeel's Louis Walker was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 75 played minutes Crosskeel got a freekick which was hit by Leonard McPeter. 77 minutes into the game, Leonard McPeter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crosskeel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Knockatee the free kick. In the 77th minute, Leonard McPeter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 78 played minutes, Knockatee's Rordan Dillon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Louis Walker came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Knockatee reached it. If Beltany McPhilip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Séamus Myler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
