Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Berke Jameson got the match started through his kick off. In the 8th minute, Paul McVictor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bran McVictor struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Burke Morrison didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clonona. 1-0 became the score in the 13th minute when Berke Jameson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Brann McPaul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heron Gillmour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Burke Morrison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berke Jameson in the 18th minute of play. Paul McVictor's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Brann McPaul on his right side and into the goal. 20 minutes into the game it was 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heron Gillmour in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brann McPaul prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Geoffrey Deery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brann McPaul having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Clonona's zone, Geoffrey Deery stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brann McPaul came out of the goal and Geoffrey Deery tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Clonona's Baird McPhilip got a free kick in the 34th minute. Heron Gillmour blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brann McPaul having to make a save. Geoffrey Deery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brann McPaul having to interfere. If Berke Jameson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Kevin McBjarton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Burke Morrison. Altakeeran's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kevin McBjarton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Heron Gillmour made a kick off. Geoffrey Deery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brann McPaul having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Altakeeran's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin McBjarton came free, but Burke Morrison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Altakeeran booed when Clonona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bran Lavine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geoffrey Deery recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 61 played minutes, Altakeeran's Paul McVictor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Brann McPaul came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Altakeeran reached it. Burke Morrison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berke Jameson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kevin McBjarton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Burke Morrison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Clonona's Berke Jameson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Burke Morrison narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Heron Gillmour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brann McPaul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heron Gillmour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Clonona getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Reginald McJames hit a great ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Geoffrey Deery managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altakeeran's supporters crossed their fingers, but Geoffrey Deery was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brann McPaul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heron Gillmour, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Clonona's Berke Jameson got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Altakeeran's goal looked a bit too open when Kevin McBjarton came free, but Burke Morrison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Altakeeran players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Clonona.
