Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Drin AFC's Keegan McWilliam started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tipper McOliver's late challenge caught a Drin AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tipper McOliver helped the player get up and apologised. 4 minutes into the match, Knockatee's goalkeeper Brenainn Gough had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kain Barrett. Knockatee's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Keegan McWilliam 5 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Knockatee's Séamus Myler got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Kain Barrett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tathan McFrank fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Knockatee's protests and gave Tathan McFrank a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Knockatee getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Tathan McFrank hit a great ball. After 17 minutes of play, Knockatee's Séamus Myler made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dolan Hughes was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 22nd minute, Séamus Myler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Knockatee's Tathan McFrank in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Drin AFC's goalie prevented a goal. If Tathan McFrank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Knockatee's Tathan McFrank sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dolan Hughes narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tathan McFrank made a kick off. Tipper McOliver was shown his second yellow card after 54 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 55th minute, Tipper McOliver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58thth minute of the game Keegan McWilliam who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Knockatee's Brenainn Gough was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Brenainn Gough showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Keegan McWilliam, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Kain Barrett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Drin AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kain Barrett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brenainn Gough breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dolan Hughes made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Séamus Myler sent off a good shot on target. Donn McJon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Dolan Hughes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Keegan McWilliam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dewayne Perth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th match minute, Drin AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pat Coyle to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Séamus Myler could shoot a difficult shot in the 86th minute, which Dolan Hughes however easily saved by the left post. In the 89th match minute, Knockatee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beothach Crowe to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Knockatee's zone, Keegan McWilliam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brenainn Gough came out of the goal and Keegan McWilliam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Knockatee getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Beothach Crowe hit a great ball. When Keegan McWilliam came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Drin AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Keegan McWilliam couldn't finish the play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
