The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 17thth minute of the game Beltany McPhilip who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rylane Utd's Beagan Dillon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Bret McGlenn came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Rylane Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bret McGlenn couldn't finish the play. If Donoghue McTommy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rylane Utd's Beagan Dillon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donoghue McTommy in the 29th minute of play. Beltany McPhilip received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Beagan Dillon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Donoghue McTommy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 minutes, Begg McSteve mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crosskeel and the Rylane Utd players grew even worse after the yellow card. Begg McSteve kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Beagan Dillon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donoghue McTommy, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Beltany McPhilip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beagan Dillon having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bret McGlenn made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Bret McGlenn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Louis Walker was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 58 minutes into the match, Crosskeel's goal looked a bit too open when Scothine Gallagher came free, but Louis Walker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beltany McPhilip sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Crosskeel's Kennedy McTom got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Beltany McPhilip got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Rylane Utd's Biviti McWilliam got a free kick in the 74th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Rylane Utd's goalkeeper Beagan Dillon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donoghue McTommy. Beagan Dillon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beltany McPhilip, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Crosskeel getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Trien Willson hit a great ball. After having played for 92 minutes, Scothine Gallagher managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rylane Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Scothine Gallagher was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Crosskeel's goalkeeper Louis Walker, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Rylane Utd defense, Donoghue McTommy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beagan Dillon. The Rylane Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beagan Dillon should have stopped the shot. Rylane Utd succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Crosskeel had controlled the match.
