Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Berke Jameson took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Beltany McPhilip fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Bran Lavine hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute of the match Kennedy McTom sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brann McPaul skillfully saved the ball. In the 11th minute, Beltany McPhilip got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Crosskeel's Louis Walker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Berke Jameson in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Leonard McPeter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the game, Kevin McBjarton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Louis Walker was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Louis Walker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berke Jameson, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Crosskeel's Leonard McPeter got his second yellow card of the match in the 32nd minute. The referee ordered Leonard McPeter off the ground. In the 33rd minute, Leonard McPeter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beltany McPhilip charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beltany McPhilip the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Crosskeel getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Beltany McPhilip hit a great ball. Donoghue McTommy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Crosskeel's Beltany McPhilip got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Clonona were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donoghue McTommy made a kick off. After 52 played minutes Clonona got a freekick which was hit by Blaine Prunty. 60 minutes into the game, Donoghue McTommy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Brann McPaul was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 63 minutes into the game, Clonona's Kevin McBjarton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Louis Walker made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Bran McVictor took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Louis Walker. Crosskeel's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Kevin McBjarton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Crosskeel's zone, Berke Jameson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Louis Walker came out of the goal and Berke Jameson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 75 minutes into the match, Clonona's goal looked a bit too open when Donoghue McTommy came free, but Brann McPaul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Berke Jameson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Louis Walker. The goal made the score 1-3. After a rather tough play, Crosskeel's Herygh McPhilip got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Louis Walker had in the 85thth minute some difficulties stopping Bran McVictor's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The nice shot from Kevin McBjarton in the 89thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Louis Walker had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Donoghue McTommy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brann McPaul having to interfere. The supporters of Clonona booed when Crosskeel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beltany McPhilip didn't get a good kick on the ball. Berke Jameson kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Louis Walker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berke Jameson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Clonona players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
