Brenainn Gough made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heron Gillmour in the 26th minute of play. Geoffrey Deery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Brenainn Gough tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Burke Morrison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Séamus Myler in the 32nd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Beothach Crowe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geoffrey Deery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Beothach Crowe fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Knockatee's protests and gave Beothach Crowe a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Knockatee's Beothach Crowe got a free kick in the 37th minute. With a little luck, Knockatee's Brenainn Gough got control of the ball when Geoffrey Deery tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Séamus Myler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Burke Morrison was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 46 minutes of play, Knockatee's Séamus Myler made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Burke Morrison was left in no man's land by his defense there!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tathan McFrank made a kick off. Brenainn Gough took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heron Gillmour, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Séamus Myler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burke Morrison having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Séamus Myler could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Burke Morrison however easily saved by the left post. If Tathan McFrank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute Tathan McFrank shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Burke Morrison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Burke Morrison made an important save on a dangerous shot by Séamus Myler in the 83rd minute. Altakeeran's Burke Morrison proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Altakeeran from getting a goal against them. Burke Morrison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tathan McFrank in the 90th minute of play. Knockatee played a much better game than Altakeeran and deserved their victory. The Altakeeran players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
