Donoghue McTommy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rowan Perth having to interfere. A collision led to Lougheraherk getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Dermot Horgan hit a great ball. In the 12th minute of the match Kennedy McTom shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rowan Perth showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rowan Perth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beltany McPhilip, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Lougheraherk's Rowan Perth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donoghue McTommy in the 14th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Donoghue McTommy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rowan Perth was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Ailín McJon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rowan Perth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donoghue McTommy in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute Donoghue McTommy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rowan Perth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Louis Walker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ailín McJon, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute, Quinn Palmer fired away a shot that was totally unreachable for Louis Walker. The ball ended up just outside the left post, and Lougheraherk's manager could be seen angrily pacing the sidelines. Louis Walker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ailín McJon in the 48th minute of the match.

After a defensive mix-up in Crosskeel's zone, Quinn Palmer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Louis Walker came out of the goal and Quinn Palmer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonard McPeter kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, Crosskeel's Donoghue McTommy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rowan Perth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Ailín McJon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Louis Walker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 66th minute, Beltany McPhilip got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Louis Walker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quinn Palmer in the 69th minute of play. Ailín McJon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rowan Perth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donoghue McTommy in the 78th minute. Donoghue McTommy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rdth minute of the game Ailín McJon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Crosskeel's Louis Walker was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Crosskeel's Louis Walker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ailín McJon in the 97th minute of play. The Crosskeel players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
