Louis Walker was left in no man's land by his defense there! Begg McSteve's late challenge caught a Drumdowney's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Begg McSteve helped the player get up and apologised. After 32 played minutes Crosskeel got a freekick which was hit by Begg McSteve. Tory Ryan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Crosskeel getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Trien Willson hit a great ball. Keelin McWilliam kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Donoghue McTommy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crosskeel's supporters rose to their feet, but Donoghue McTommy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Flann Byrne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Drumdowney's Ricard Scully got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47thth minute of the game Sameer Gollogley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Crosskeel's Louis Walker was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sameer Gollogley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Drumdowney's Sameer Gollogley made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Louis Walker was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Ricard Scully came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Drumdowney fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricard Scully couldn't finish the play. 61 minutes into the match, Crosskeel's goal looked a bit too open when Ricard Scully came free, but Louis Walker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Drumdowney's Ricard Scully ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Louis Walker. Louis Walker yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. In the 65th minute Ricard Scully shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Louis Walker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sameer Gollogley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Louis Walker having to interfere. Sameer Gollogley who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Louis Walker when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sameer Gollogleys short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Louis Walker to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sameer Gollogley scored 0-5 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Louis Walker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 90 minutes, Louis Walker successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 95th minute, Drumdowney's Ricard Scully dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Drumdowney played a much better game than Crosskeel and deserved their victory. The Crosskeel players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
