Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Liatroim's Shey McWill started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Liatroim's goal looked a bit too open when Bret McGlenn came free, but Hayes Hutton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Rylane Utd's zone, Alex Robinson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beagan Dillon came out of the goal and Alex Robinson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rylane Utd's Beagan Dillon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shey McWill in the 18th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Shey McWill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beagan Dillon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rylane Utd's Beagan Dillon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shey McWill in the 23rd minute of play. After having played for 24 minutes, Alex Robinson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Liatroim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Robinson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Beagan Dillon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shey McWill in the 27th minute of play. Shey McWill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beagan Dillon having to interfere. Comhghall McBrand hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Liatroim's Shey McWill slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Beagan Dillon. That made the score 1-1 after 34 minutes of play. If Shey McWill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shey McWill struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Beagan Dillon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liatroim. Bradagain Byrne charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bradagain Byrne the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Scothine Gallagher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Rylane Utd's zone, Alex Robinson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beagan Dillon came out of the goal and Alex Robinson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bret McGlenn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Scothine Gallagher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Biviti McWilliam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alex Robinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Liatroim's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rylane Utd the free kick. Scothine Gallagher in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hayes Hutton, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alex Robinson struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Beagan Dillon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liatroim.
