Geoffrey Deery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brenainn Gough having to interfere. Burke Morrison made an important save on a dangerous shot by Séamus Myler in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Altakeeran's goalkeeper Burke Morrison, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Knockatee's Séamus Myler got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Tathan McFrank had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Geoffrey Deery blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brenainn Gough having to make a save. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Heron Gillmour sped through Knockatee's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Brenainn Gough. 39 minutes into the match, Altakeeran's goal looked a bit too open when Tathan McFrank came free, but Burke Morrison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Altakeeran's defense didn't have a chance, in the 41st minute, when Tathan McFrank scored to the left of an out of position Burke Morrison, making the score, 3-1. Brennon Rogers hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When Séamus Myler got free in front of the goal in the 48th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Burke Morrison was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Heron Gillmour to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Heron Gillmour in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brenainn Gough prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 64th minute Séamus Myler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Burke Morrison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Heron Gillmour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donn McJon charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Donn McJon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Altakeeran booed when Knockatee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donn McJon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geoffrey Deery recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dewayne Perth charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Beothach Crowe hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, Geoffrey Deery had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brenainn Gough. Knockatee's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geoffrey Deery was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. After having played for 75 minutes, Heron Gillmour managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altakeeran's supporters crossed their fingers, but Heron Gillmour was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Burke Morrison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Séamus Myler, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute.
