Spectators: 6768 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 0) When Tevin MaCollin came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Lismoghry fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tevin MaCollin couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tevin MaCollin in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kyle Colwell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 7 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Bray Cooney sped through Strand's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kyle Colwell. Kyle Colwell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bray Cooney in the 11th minute of play. George Doyle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Andrew Byrne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Bray Cooney cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Kyle Colwell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 26thth minute of the game Bray Cooney who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Strand's Kyle Colwell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Strand's Bradaigh Doherty got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute, Ryan McAlphie sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Strand's Kyle Colwell didn't even have to move. In the 32nd minute Bray Cooney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kyle Colwell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute, Beairtle McAlphie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bray Cooney received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bray Cooney to make the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Bray Cooney who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Strand's Kyle Colwell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kyle Colwell was out of position in the 56 minute of play, and Tevin MaCollin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tevin MaCollin really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Doyle in the 62nd minute of play forced Lismoghry's goalkeeper Andrew Byrne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Strand's Bearach O'Keefe got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Lismoghry's zone, Bearach O'Keefe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andrew Byrne came out of the goal and Bearach O'Keefe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st match minute, Lismoghry was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nolyn Perth to maneuver through the defense. Bearach O'Keefe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrew Byrne having to interfere. Bray Cooney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kyle Colwell having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Strand's goalkeeper Kyle Colwell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tevin MaCollin. Bradaigh Doherty hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Tevin MaCollin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Kyle Colwell made a huge save. After 92 played minutes Bray Cooney rounded Strand's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. Lismoghry's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
