Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Brefni Deery started the match with the kick off. Robin McOliver's late challenge caught a Lismoghry's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robin McOliver helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd minute, Robin McOliver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Leckee FC's zone, Bray Cooney stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gearoid McPhilip came out of the goal and Bray Cooney tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gearoid McPhilip made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bray Cooney in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Leckee FC's Harley Walker got a free kick in the 9th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Leckee FC's goalkeeper Gearoid McPhilip had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bannan Murphy. Tevin MaCollin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Gearoid McPhilip skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tevin MaCollin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Lismoghry's goal looked a bit too open when Breen Callaghan came free, but Andrew Byrne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lismoghry's Andrew Byrne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breen Callaghan in the 23rd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Breen Callaghan made a precise shot to the right of Andrew Byrne. Lismoghry's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of Leckee FC booed when Lismoghry was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quaid Deery didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harley Walker, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nolyn Perth during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Lismoghry getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Nolyn Perth hit a great ball. When Bannan Murphy fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lismoghry's protests and gave Bannan Murphy a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Leckee FC booed when Lismoghry was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bannan Murphy didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute Bray Cooney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gearoid McPhilip saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Tevin MaCollin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gearoid McPhilip. Leckee FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tevin MaCollin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Breen Callaghan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andrew Byrne having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brefni Deery in the 47th minute of play forced Lismoghry's goalkeeper Andrew Byrne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bray Cooney stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Bray Cooney managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lismoghry's supporters rose to their feet, but Bray Cooney was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gearoid McPhilip breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andrew Byrne made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robin McOliver in the 56th minute. After having played for 61 minutes, Nolyn Perth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lismoghry's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nolyn Perth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th minute, Robin McOliver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nolyn Perth kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Leckee FC's zone, Tevin MaCollin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gearoid McPhilip came out of the goal and Tevin MaCollin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gearoid McPhilip didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tevin MaCollin went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. If Tevin MaCollin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Bannan Murphy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lismoghry's supporters rose to their feet, but Bannan Murphy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gearoid McPhilip took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bannan Murphy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tevin MaCollin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Gearoid McPhilip tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brefni Deery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Breen Callaghan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lismoghry had won after a very even match.
