Ryleigh McWill made a great header on Rabbitburrow AFC's corner, it was just that Listicall AFC's Conaill O'Down managed to reach the ball for a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aengus McDonald in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Conaill O'Down prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 38th minute, Gerard Prunty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute, Aengus McDonald got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brett McAlphie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Conaill O'Down showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aengus McDonald, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The supporters of Rabbitburrow AFC booed when Listicall AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bree Dempsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Timmons McJon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conaill O'Down made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Brett McAlphie sent off a good shot on target. If Aengus McDonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The audience was convinced that Aengus McDonald's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Conaill O'Down was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game.
