Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Quirk Walker kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Derren booed when Glensmill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baoithin Tierney didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Bragan McDecland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Glensmill's zone, Ros Doherty stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samueil Lester came out of the goal and Ros Doherty tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bragan McDecland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samueil Lester having to interfere. Donlevy Palmer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Brigid Doherty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glensmill's Samueil Lester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bragan McDecland in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Derren's zone, Quirk Walker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brigid Doherty came out of the goal and Quirk Walker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aodh McIan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Brigid Doherty made a huge save. Quirk Walker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Brigid Doherty tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bragan McDecland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samueil Lester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ros Doherty in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the game, one of Derren:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Aodh McIan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brigid Doherty having to interfere. Bragan McDecland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aodh McIan struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Brigid Doherty didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Glensmill. 47 minutes into the match, Glensmill's Quirk Walker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Brigid Doherty narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ros Doherty made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Quirk Walker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brigid Doherty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, Quirk Walker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Brigid Doherty was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Quirk Walker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Brigid Doherty was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 64th minute, Quirk Walker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute, one of Derren:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Derren. After 70 played minutes Derren got a freekick which was hit by Bairee Myler. Glensmill's Aodh McIan got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute, Bragan McDecland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Derren fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Derren's Ros Doherty slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Samueil Lester. That made the score 4-2 after 85 minutes of play. Brigid Doherty didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Quirk Walker went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. Bragan McDecland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Samueil Lester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Quirk Walker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glensmill's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
