After a defensive mix-up in Glensmill's zone, Finnigan McMichel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samueil Lester came out of the goal and Finnigan McMichel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Quirk Walker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th match minute, Glensmill was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donlevy Palmer to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donegan McJames during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Quirk Walker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breffni Tracy having to interfere. If Ricard Gillmour had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samueil Lester was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Finnigan McMichel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 35 minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Garr FC's Finnigan McMichel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samueil Lester narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Austin McTom kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, Ricard Gillmour was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Glensmill's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garr FC the free kick. Ricard Gillmour hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Garr FC's Biviti Todd tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Garr FC's Breffni Tracy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quirk Walker in the 44th minute of play. Finnigan McMichel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Breffni Tracy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aodh McIan in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Glensmill were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Quirk Walker made a kick off. Brennen Ryan might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samueil Lester. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brennen Ryan ran back to his position shaking his head. Quirk Walker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute, Quirk Walker fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Breffni Tracy, passed just outside the right post. When Tipraite Dunne fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garr FC's protests and gave Tipraite Dunne a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Glensmill booed when Garr FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tipraite Dunne didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62ndth minute of the game Brennen Ryan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Glensmill's Samueil Lester was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Suibhne McCollion kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Brennen Ryan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samueil Lester having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Finnigan McMichel in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samueil Lester prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81st minute, Aodh McIan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Donegan McJames hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. If Aodh McIan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Breffni Tracy was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Quirk Walker capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Quirk Walker really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Garr FC's Breffni Tracy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Garr FC from getting a goal against them. Glensmill's Quirk Walker got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Glensmill could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Garr FC throughout the match.
