Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Quirk Walker started the match with the kick off. When Berke McOliver fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cork's protests and gave Berke McOliver a yellow card for diving instead. Aubrey McPaul showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aodh McIan, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Samueil Lester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dermot Jameson in the 6th minute of play. When Donlevy Palmer fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Glensmill's protests and gave Donlevy Palmer a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Glensmill getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Donlevy Palmer hit a great ball. Berke McOliver kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Aubrey McPaul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aodh McIan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aodh McIan took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aubrey McPaul. Aubrey McPaul dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Leon Savic made in the 24th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Aodh McIan however managed to control. In the 28th minute Aodh McIan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aubrey McPaul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aubrey McPaul came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Glensmill's Aodh McIan. But to his dismay, Aodh McIan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donlevy Palmer in the 37th minute of play forced Cork's goalkeeper Aubrey McPaul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Ricard Gillmour ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aubrey McPaul was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. A hard shot 44 in the game by Dermot Jameson from a close distance when the talented Samueil Lester managed to make a qualified save. Glensmill's players were relieved. 47 minutes into the match, Cork's goal looked a bit too open when Ricard Gillmour came free, but Aubrey McPaul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Glensmill's goalkeeper Samueil Lester, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Samueil Lester stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dermot Jameson's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Aubrey McPaul made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Aodh McIan sent off a good shot on target. Donlevy Palmer kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Donoghue Ramsey kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. If Dermot Jameson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Glensmill could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cork throughout the match.
