After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Bradain McGlenn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barraduff's supporters rose to their feet, but Bradain McGlenn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samueil Lester breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Glensmill's Samueil Lester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradain McGlenn in the 7th minute of play. Bradain McGlenn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Samueil Lester tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glensmill's Samueil Lester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brefni McGlenn in the 10th minute of play. If Bradain McGlenn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the game, Barraduff's Bradain McGlenn nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Samueil Lester made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Barraduff's Basil Ferguson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Barraduff from getting a goal against them. Quirk Walker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basil Ferguson having to interfere. Quirk Walker was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 30th minute. Glensmill's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 32 played minutes Glensmill got a freekick which was hit by Ricard Gillmour. Bradain McGlenn struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Samueil Lester didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barraduff. Samueil Lester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brefni McGlenn in the 39th minute of play. Quirk Walker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Basil Ferguson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barraduff's Basil Ferguson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Barraduff from getting a goal against them. 45 minutes into the match, Glensmill's Quirk Walker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Basil Ferguson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Glensmill booed when Barraduff was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Begg Deans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Brefni McGlenn was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes in the game, Begg Deans fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Samueil Lester having to interfere. In the 55th minute of the match, Brefni McGlenn tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Samueil Lester saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 65 minutes into the match, Barraduff's goal looked a bit too open when Quirk Walker came free, but Basil Ferguson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aodh McIan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Basil Ferguson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quirk Walker in the 84th minute of play forced Barraduff's goalkeeper Basil Ferguson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute Aodh McIan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basil Ferguson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Quirk Walker notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Barraduff's Basil Ferguson. Basil Ferguson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
