Spectators: 6765 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1765, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Finnigan McMichel started the match with the kick off. In the 6th match minute, Garr FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Suibhne McCollion to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the game, Brennen Ryan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garr FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barraduff the free kick. After a rather tough play, Garr FC's Brennen Ryan got a free kick in the 18th minute. Basil Ferguson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Finnigan McMichel, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Basil Ferguson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Finnigan McMichel went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Barraduff getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Lee McFrancise hit a great ball. Bradain McGlenn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Breffni Tracy having to make a save. Breffni Tracy came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Barraduff's Brefni McGlenn. But to his dismay, Brefni McGlenn quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brefni McGlenn stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bradain McGlenn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Breffni Tracy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 66th minute, but Breffni Tracy got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Garr FC hanging dry this time. Finnigan McMichel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Garr FC booed when Barraduff was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seosamh Murphy didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Brennen Ryan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Basil Ferguson was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. 79 minutes into the match, Garr FC's goalkeeper Breffni Tracy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bradain McGlenn. 83 minutes into the game, Garr FC's Finnigan McMichel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Basil Ferguson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 88 minutes, Finnigan McMichel made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Barraduff's Basil Ferguson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Finnigan McMichel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
