Spectators: 6772 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sheridan Scully took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Drumbilla booed when Knockawaddra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brenden Scully didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rorke Scully stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sheridan Scully's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Knockawaddra's Danann Hughes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barram Palmer in the 10th minute of play. If Barram Palmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13 minutes, Caoilte Tracy made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Knockawaddra's Danann Hughes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Knockawaddra's Danann Hughes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caoilte Tracy in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Knockawaddra's goal looked a bit too open when Caoilte Tracy came free, but Danann Hughes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Drumbilla's Rorke Scully played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sheridan Scully in the 22nd minute of play. Danann Hughes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caoilte Tracy, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Bannan Scully received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Rorke Scully tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Bannan Scully hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Knockawaddra's Sheridan Scully sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rorke Scully narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Knockawaddra's Danann Hughes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braedon Palmer in the 41st minute of play. A collision led to Knockawaddra getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Trevor Horgan hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Caoilte Tracy made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match, Herygh McIan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Danann Hughes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Drumbilla's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Conn Cooney in the 53rd minute. Rorke Scully came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Knockawaddra's Sheridan Scully. But to his dismay, Sheridan Scully quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Danann Hughes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caoilte Tracy in the 61st minute of the match. Sheridan Scully received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Rorke Scully tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barram Palmer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Danann Hughes made a huge save. Rorke Scully showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bannan Scully in the 69th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Caoilte Tracy notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Knockawaddra's Danann Hughes. Danann Hughes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Caoilte Tracy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Danann Hughes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rorke Scully showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bannan Scully in the 81st minute of the match. A collision led to Knockawaddra getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Caoilte Tracy hit a great ball. Barram Palmer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danann Hughes having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Caoilte Tracy dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Danann Hughes, 1-3. In the 94th minute, Caoilte Tracy reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Danann Hughes. The goal made the score 1-4. The Drumbilla supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Drumbilla would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
