Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Croithli AFC's Irving Rogers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artur McLiam in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Braon McCollion in the 9th minute of play forced Ballyboy's goalkeeper Pearse Hutton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute Don McNamee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irving Rogers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Irving Rogers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brigid Branson in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Bree McLian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Artur McLiam left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ballyboy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Balor McPhil charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Balor McPhil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Croithli AFC booed when Ballyboy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balor McPhil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pearson Bayes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pearse Hutton. Ballyboy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Braon McCollion struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Pearse Hutton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Croithli AFC. Irving Rogers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Don McNamee in the 32nd minute of the match. Ballyboy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Beanon Palmer in the 34th minute. Bree McLian hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ballyboy's zone, Braon McCollion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pearse Hutton came out of the goal and Braon McCollion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Irving Rogers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artur McLiam in the 44th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Braon McCollion made a kick off. Braon McCollion recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pearse Hutton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braon McCollion in the 57th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Don McNamee could shoot a difficult shot in the 63rd minute, which Irving Rogers however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Ballyboy booed when Croithli AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pearson Bayes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Beanon Palmer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballyboy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beanon Palmer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Irving Rogers was a little too slow when Don McNamee got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur McLiam in the 79th minute of play forced Croithli AFC's goalkeeper Irving Rogers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Don McNamee dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Irving Rogers, 0-4. In the 89th minute Rorey Ramsey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pearse Hutton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ballyboy's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
