An unexpectedly hard shot by Herygh Ghee in the 14th minute of play forced Moylemuck Utd's goalkeeper Jonathan McSteve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Moylemuck Utd's goalkeeper Jonathan McSteve, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 18 minutes into the game, Patraic McDecland recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Barley Hutton. Barley Hutton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patraic McDecland, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cahersherkin Utd's goalkeeper Barley Hutton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Patraic McDecland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patraic McDecland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barley Hutton having to interfere. Cahersherkin Utd's Barley Hutton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patraic McDecland in the 42nd minute of play. Patraic McDecland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barley Hutton having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Adamnan Hamilton struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Barley Hutton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moylemuck Utd. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patraic McDecland in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Barley Hutton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 69 minutes into the match, Moylemuck Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Tiomoid Gillmour came free, but Jonathan McSteve reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiomoid Gillmour might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan McSteve. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiomoid Gillmour ran back to his position shaking his head. When Blar Palmer fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moylemuck Utd's protests and gave Blar Palmer a yellow card for diving instead. Barley Hutton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patraic McDecland in the 86th minute of the match. Adamnan Hamilton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Patraic McDecland came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Moylemuck Utd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patraic McDecland couldn't finish the play. Barley Hutton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patraic McDecland in the 97th minute of the match.
