Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 7th minute Sheridan Scully shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Healey Hamilton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Renny Jameson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Shanvally fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Renny Jameson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 13th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Healey Hamilton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sheridan Scully, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Renny Jameson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Renny Jameson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Danann Hughes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 28th minute Sheridan Scully shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Healey Hamilton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Barhart Byrne made a precise shot to the right of Healey Hamilton. Shanvally's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 32 minutes into the match, Shanvally's goal looked a bit too open when Trevor Horgan came free, but Healey Hamilton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Shanvally's Bannan Holt got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Keeghan Duggan, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Knockawaddra's Bannan Scully sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Healey Hamilton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 38 played minutes Shanvally got a freekick which was hit by Brendanus Dimson. Knockawaddra's Danann Hughes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Knockawaddra from getting a goal against them. Danann Hughes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Renny Jameson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 42 minute of play. Renny Jameson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Danann Hughes made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Renny Jameson to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Knockawaddra got a freekick which was hit by Brenn O'Neill. Healey Hamilton was a little too slow when Sheridan Scully got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 2-2. 78 minutes into the match, Knockawaddra's goal looked a bit too open when Renny Jameson came free, but Danann Hughes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brendanus Dimson might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Danann Hughes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brendanus Dimson ran back to his position shaking his head. Healey Hamilton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sheridan Scully in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trevor Horgan in the 87th minute of play forced Shanvally's goalkeeper Healey Hamilton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Healey Hamilton successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 92nd minute Renny Jameson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danann Hughes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
