The supporters of Croithli AFC booed when Knockawaddra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trevor Horgan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sheridan Scully scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Irving Rogers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Irving Rogers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sheridan Scully in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Bannan Scully left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Knockawaddra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Irving Rogers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bannan Scully in the 28th minute of the match. When Banban Glen Crowe came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Croithli AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Banban Glen Crowe couldn't finish the play. Danann Hughes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braon McCollion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the game, Barhart Byrne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Irving Rogers was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 47 minutes into the match, Croithli AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Trevor Horgan came free, but Irving Rogers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Braon McCollion made the kick off in the second half. Trevor Horgan kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. In the 51stth minute of the game Braon McCollion who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Knockawaddra's Danann Hughes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Croithli AFC's Irving Rogers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Croithli AFC from getting a goal against them. 58 minutes into the match, Trevor Horgan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Irving Rogers, 0-4. Irving Rogers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bannan Scully went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Braon McCollion struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Danann Hughes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Croithli AFC. Bannan Scully could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Irving Rogers made a huge save. 68 minutes into the match, Croithli AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Barhart Byrne came free, but Irving Rogers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute, Bannan Scully ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Irving Rogers was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Sheridan Scully's late challenge caught a Croithli AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sheridan Scully helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Knockawaddra getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Sheridan Scully hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, Brenden Scully hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Croithli AFC's Irving Rogers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Croithli AFC from getting a goal against them. 92 minutes into the match, Sheridan Scully had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Irving Rogers. Croithli AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sheridan Scully was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7.
