Ballaghmore's Donald Gallagher got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerard Willson might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Comhghall Coyle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerard Willson ran back to his position shaking his head. Comhghall Coyle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tathan McSteve in the 23rd minute of the match. John McLian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ballaghmore fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Cathal Ramsey, was totally fooled by Moytirra Utd's Boddibevve Jameson, who 31 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When Moytirra Utd's John McLian in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cathal Ramsey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of John McLian's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, John McLian put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cathal Ramsey. Comhghall Coyle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tathan McSteve in the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st match minute, Moytirra Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bairne Deery to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by John McLian in the 63rd minute of play forced Ballaghmore's goalkeeper Cathal Ramsey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Ron Costello cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Cathal Ramsey was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gerard Willson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Comhghall Coyle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. John McLian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leon Palmer hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The supporters of Moytirra Utd booed when Ballaghmore was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leon Palmer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ron Costello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cathal Ramsey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Ron Costello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cathal Ramsey having to interfere. Ron Costello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Cathal Ramsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Moytirra Utd walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
