In the last second Artuir Dempsey throw himself and got hold of the ball when Tathan McSteve in the 8thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Donald Gallagher hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, Knockatee AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tathan McSteve came free, but Artuir Dempsey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 28 played minutes Ballaghmore got a freekick which was hit by Arnold Savic. In the 31stth minute of the game Tathan McSteve who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Knockatee AFC's Artuir Dempsey was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Artuir Dempsey had great luck who in the 33rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Tathan McSteve from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When Tathan McSteve came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Ballaghmore fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tathan McSteve couldn't finish the play. Artuir Dempsey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerard Willson in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Knockatee AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Tathan McSteve came free, but Artuir Dempsey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Knockatee AFC's goalkeeper Artuir Dempsey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donald Gallagher. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Tathan McSteve came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Ballaghmore fans jumped to their feet. The supporters of Knockatee AFC booed when Ballaghmore was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bec Dempsey didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Biddy Costello took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Cathal Ramsey to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerard Willson in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Artuir Dempsey saved Knockatee AFC from getting behind. After having played for 77 minutes, Tathan McSteve managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballaghmore's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tathan McSteve was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Ballaghmore's Gerard Willson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Artuir Dempsey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gerard Willson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artuir Dempsey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
