Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Glannagaul's Quirk Todd started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Todd John hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Quirk Todd in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donleavy Lester saved Killmacomma from getting behind. Donleavy Lester didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Quirk Todd went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Cashel Taylor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Braoin McStephen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donleavy Lester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quirk Todd, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Braoin McStephen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cashel Taylor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Killmacomma getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Emmet Beckett hit a great ball. The supporters of Glannagaul booed when Killmacomma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emmet Beckett didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quirk Todd spun around in front of the goal 39 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Killmacomma's goal.
