A collision led to Leap AFC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Branson Cronin hit a great ball. Bannan Tierney was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kevin McJon. Bannan Tierney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desmond Doherty, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Barram Robinson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beatty Murphy in the 10th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Leap AFC's Biviti McSteven got a free kick in the 14th minute. Desmond Doherty struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Bannan Tierney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boolyglass. Leap AFC's Bannan Tierney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desmond Doherty in the 24th minute of play. After 24 minutes, Breas McJohn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leap AFC and the Boolyglass players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Leap AFC's Breas McJohn got a free kick in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Boolyglass's Desmond Doherty sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bannan Tierney narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Barram Robinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beatty Murphy in the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Seoirse Willson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leap AFC's Branson Cronin couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 29th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Boolyglass. The supporters of Boolyglass booed when Leap AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaac McAlphie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brendan Duggan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Bannan Tierney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Breas McJohn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brendan Duggan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bannan Tierney having to interfere. Bannan Tierney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desmond Doherty in the 45th minute of the match. Barram Robinson came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Leap AFC's Beara McBjarton. But to his dismay, Beara McBjarton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beara McBjarton to make the kick off. In the 62nd minute of the game, Finian Colwell landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After a rather tough play, Leap AFC's Breas McJohn got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Brendan Duggan struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Bannan Tierney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boolyglass. If Beatty Murphy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Leap AFC's zone, Brendan Duggan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bannan Tierney came out of the goal and Brendan Duggan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 75 minutes, Boru Gough mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boolyglass and the Leap AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 78 minutes into the game, Leap AFC's Beatty Murphy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Barram Robinson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Boolyglass's zone, Beatty Murphy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barram Robinson came out of the goal and Beatty Murphy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Beara McBjarton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leap AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Beara McBjarton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barram Robinson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bannan Tierney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brendan Duggan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Boolyglass's Barram Robinson got control of the ball when Beatty Murphy tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 89th minute, Brendan Duggan made a precise shot to the right of Bannan Tierney. Leap AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Leap AFC's Bannan Tierney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendan Duggan in the 97th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
