Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jeremiah McStephen kicked off to start the match. Ballyconnel's Bohannon Harkin got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Ballyconnel booed when Belgard Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Turlough Cronin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Trevor MaCollin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremiah McStephen in the 6th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Belgard Utd's goalkeeper Trevor MaCollin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Breck Hutton. If Bairthmead McCollion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 16th minute, Ryland Branson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gealan Cassin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After having played for 24 minutes, Breck Hutton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballyconnel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Breck Hutton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Breck Hutton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Trevor MaCollin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jeremiah McStephen in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Trevor MaCollin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Turlough Cronin hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. When Ballyconnel's Jeremiah McStephen in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Belgard Utd's goalie prevented a goal. 37 minutes into the game, Jeremiah McStephen recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Trevor MaCollin. Jeremiah McStephen showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After a rather tough play, Belgard Utd's Bairthmead McCollion got a free kick in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donlevy Frankson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Breck Hutton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgard Utd's Trevor MaCollin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Trevor MaCollin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremiah McStephen in the 55th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Belgard Utd's Turlough Cronin got a free kick in the 57th minute. Gealan Cassin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donlevy Frankson in the 62nd minute of the match. Belgard Utd's Trevor MaCollin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Breck Hutton in the 66th minute of play. Gealan Cassin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ryland Branson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 70 minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Ardán Molloy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Trevor MaCollin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremiah McStephen, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Gealan Cassin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ryland Branson went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. Bairthmead McCollion received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gealan Cassin came out and tried to block the shot, but Bairthmead McCollion slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 80th minute. Belgard Utd's Trevor MaCollin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremiah McStephen in the 86th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Bairthmead McCollion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donlevy Frankson in the 95th minute of play forced Ballyconnel's goalkeeper Gealan Cassin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th match minute, Belgard Utd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bairthmead McCollion to maneuver through the defense.
