Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ballaghmore's Tathan McSteve started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Gerard Willson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Barram Robinson was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Barram Robinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerard Willson in the 11th minute of the match. Finian Colwell charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Finian Colwell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 15 played minutes Boolyglass got a freekick which was hit by Finian Colwell. Ballaghmore's Tathan McSteve got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 20 minutes of play, Ballaghmore's Leon Palmer made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Barram Robinson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute, Tathan McSteve hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerard Willson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barram Robinson having to interfere. Leon Palmer hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Brendan Duggan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Cathal Ramsey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barram Robinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerard Willson, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 47th minute of the match, Brendan Duggan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cathal Ramsey was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After the first half Ballaghmore were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Desmond Doherty made the kick off in the second half. Cathal Ramsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brendan Duggan in the 51st minute of the match. 51 minutes into the game, Leon Palmer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ballaghmore's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boolyglass the free kick. Leon Palmer kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Desmond Doherty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cathal Ramsey having to interfere. Cathal Ramsey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desmond Doherty in the 61st minute of the match. Boru Gough hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Boolyglass's zone, Tathan McSteve stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barram Robinson came out of the goal and Tathan McSteve tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Beollan McAlphie kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Tathan McSteve recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tathan McSteve in the 81st minute of play forced Boolyglass's goalkeeper Barram Robinson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Seoirse Willson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Ballaghmore's Arnold Savic broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Boolyglass's Barram Robinson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Boolyglass from getting a goal against them. Ballaghmore's Leon Palmer got his second yellow card of the match in the 91st minute. The referee ordered Leon Palmer off the ground. Leon Palmer hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the game, Boolyglass's Brendan Duggan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cathal Ramsey made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
