Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Desmond Doherty took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Killmacomma's Cashel Taylor in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boolyglass's goalie prevented a goal. When Boru Gough fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boolyglass's protests and gave Boru Gough a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Boolyglass getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Boru Gough hit a great ball. 18 minutes into the match, Turlough McGlynn notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Boolyglass's Barram Robinson. Barram Robinson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Killmacomma's Eoin McTommy got a free kick in the 20th minute. Desmond Doherty received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Donleavy Lester came out and tried to block the shot, but Desmond Doherty slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 22nd minute. After 25 played minutes Boolyglass got a freekick which was hit by Desmond Doherty. Turlough McGlynn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Barram Robinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cashel Taylor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barram Robinson having to interfere. Cashel Taylor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Barram Robinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Boolyglass's Finian Colwell got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute Desmond Doherty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donleavy Lester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Killmacomma's goalkeeper Donleavy Lester had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brendan Duggan. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The supporters of Killmacomma booed when Boolyglass was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conaill Glen Crowe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Killmacomma's Troy Rutherford couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 59th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Boolyglass. Turlough McGlynn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Barram Robinson made a huge save. Killmacomma were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Boolyglass's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Troy Rutherford took the corner. Boolyglass's Barram Robinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cashel Taylor in the 68th minute of play. Barram Robinson made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Turlough McGlynn sent off a good shot on target. In the 72nd minute of the match Dane McGlenn sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Barram Robinson skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Desmond Doherty managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boolyglass's supporters crossed their fingers, but Desmond Doherty was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cashel Taylor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Desmond Doherty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donleavy Lester having to interfere. Donleavy Lester made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desmond Doherty in the 90th minute of play. Brendan Duggan struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Donleavy Lester didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boolyglass. Killmacomma's Donleavy Lester played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desmond Doherty in the 94th minute of play. Turlough McGlynn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
