Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rowley John started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Bow McPaul fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Courthoyle's protests and gave Bow McPaul a yellow card for diving instead. Quinton Lavine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brady Gough, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Bras McWillie hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Rowley John took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Quinton Lavine. Quinton Lavine dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 17 minutes into the game, Bunnagippaun's Donn Doherty nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Quinton Lavine made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Boru O'Brien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basil Moran in the 33rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Courthoyle defense, Rowley John kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Quinton Lavine. The Courthoyle fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quinton Lavine should have stopped the shot. After 38 minutes, Ross Palmer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Courthoyle and the Bunnagippaun players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Ross Palmer was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 40 minutes had been played. Ross Palmer hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. In the 42ndth minute of the game Donn Doherty who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Courthoyle's Quinton Lavine was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Donn Doherty took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Quinton Lavine. Quinton Lavine dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donahue McBrandon to strike the kick off in the second half. Donn Doherty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Quinton Lavine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Bunnagippaun booed when Courthoyle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braydon Doyle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brady Gough received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Quinton Lavine came out and tried to block the shot, but Brady Gough slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 74th minute. After a rather tough play, Courthoyle's Paudraig Kelly got a free kick in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the game, Finian Cassin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Quinton Lavine. Finian Cassin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. When Paudraig Kelly fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 87th match minute, Courthoyle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bras McWillie to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Courthoyle getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Bras McWillie hit a great ball. Quinton Lavine acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 93rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ryley McAlphie. Bunnagippaun played a much better game than Courthoyle and deserved their victory. The Courthoyle players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
