Bevan McNamara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bragain Grant in the 16th minute of play. Ballygarett AFC's Berrin Molloy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bedilia McPhil in the 20th minute of play. Berrin Molloy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bedilia McPhil in the 22nd minute of the match. Bevan McNamara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bragain Grant in the 23rd minute of the match. Bedilia McPhil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berrin Molloy having to interfere. Berrin Molloy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bedilia McPhil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fionn O'Neill charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fionn O'Neill the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38 played minutes Ballygarett AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fionn O'Neill. After 39 minutes, Conor McVictor made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ballygarett AFC's Berrin Molloy tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Conor McVictor blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Berrin Molloy having to make a save. A collision led to Ballygarett AFC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Aron Prunty hit a great ball. In the 49th minute, Bedilia McPhil reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Berrin Molloy. The goal made the score 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jarlath Tracy made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Ballygarett AFC defense, Conor McVictor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Berrin Molloy. The Ballygarett AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Berrin Molloy should have stopped the shot. After 58 minutes, Bedilia McPhil made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ballygarett AFC's Berrin Molloy tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 62 minutes, Bedilia McPhil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shronowen and the Ballygarett AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 played minutes Shronowen got a freekick which was hit by Bedilia McPhil. Berrin Molloy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Conor McVictor's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute Conor McVictor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berrin Molloy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bedilia McPhil in the 99th minute of play forced Ballygarett AFC's goalkeeper Berrin Molloy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Shronowen had won after a very even match.
