Baine McJames sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute of the match Pembroke McSteve shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Philib Delaney showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Thom Glen Crowe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nolagh's supporters rose to their feet, but Thom Glen Crowe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Philib Delaney breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donegal Cronin kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Graystown's Philib Delaney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thom Glen Crowe in the 19th minute of play. Donegal Cronin hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Graystown's goalkeeper Philib Delaney, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gearoid Jameson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loughlin McWillie having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roordan Rutherford in the 30th minute of play forced Graystown's goalkeeper Philib Delaney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loughlin McWillie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baine McJames, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Philib Delaney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roordan Rutherford, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Roordan Rutherford scored 0-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Philib Delaney, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roordan Rutherford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Graystown players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nolagh were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roordan Rutherford made a kick off. Philib Delaney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roordan Rutherford in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 minutes of play Graystown's Donegal Cronin was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 55 played minutes Graystown got a freekick which was hit by Donegal Cronin. The Graystown fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Graystown's Gearoid Jameson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Thom Glen Crowe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 71st minute by Roordan Rutherford got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gearoid Jameson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Loughlin McWillie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thom Glen Crowe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Roordan Rutherford's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Philib Delaney was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Thom Glen Crowe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Philib Delaney read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Graystown's Philib Delaney proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Graystown from getting a goal against them. Thom Glen Crowe's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Philib Delaney skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Roordan Rutherford recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Philib Delaney didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thom Glen Crowe went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score.
