They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donahue McLiam to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Duff Costello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Banban McTommy was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Tawny AFC's Beamard Robinson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donahue McLiam in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Banban McTommy saved Clogga from getting behind. The supporters of Clogga booed when Tawny AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brosnan Lavine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dermot Dunne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Enda McFrancise tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enda McFrancise took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brak Hutton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brak Hutton struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Enda McFrancise didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clogga. If Beothach Colwell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Clogga left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tawny AFC.
