Seating: 1764, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rory Martyn made the kick off which started today's match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rory Martyn in the 8th minute of play forced Millroad's goalkeeper Brite Keegan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Millroad's Finian McPhilip sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Torrey McBrandon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Richard Silke came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Millroad fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richard Silke couldn't finish the play. Torrey McBrandon made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Richard Silke sent off a good shot on target. Torrey McBrandon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Richard Silke in the 19th minute. If Bradner Caffrey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Bradner Caffrey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brite Keegan. Millroad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bradner Caffrey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Rory Martyn charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rory Martyn the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Millroad booed when Belclare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rory Martyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rory Martyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Brite Keegan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bradner Caffrey struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Brite Keegan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belclare. Bradner Caffrey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brite Keegan having to interfere. After having played for 44 minutes, Rory Martyn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belclare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rory Martyn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Bradner Caffrey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Millroad players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Belclare were winning 0-1.
After 53 minutes, Barran Glen Crowe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Millroad and the Belclare players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bradner Caffrey got free with Brite Keegan in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rory Martyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brite Keegan having to interfere. If Bradner Caffrey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brite Keegan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rory Martyn's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Bradner Caffrey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Richard Silke blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Torrey McBrandon having to make a save. If Rory Martyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Rory Martyn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belclare's supporters rose to their feet, but Rory Martyn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brite Keegan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bradner Caffrey's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Brite Keegan firmly grabbed it by the left post. Corey McGlynn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Belclare were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Millroad's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sean McLian took the corner. Rory Martyn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brite Keegan having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Millroad's goal looked a bit too open when Rory Martyn came free, but Brite Keegan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Millroad's goal looked a bit too open when Rory Martyn came free, but Brite Keegan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Belclare played a much better game than Millroad and deserved their victory. The Millroad players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
