Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ciarán Todd kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Beamard Robinson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tawny AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Beamard Robinson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brian Ramsey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 5 played minutes Monasteroris FC got a freekick which was hit by Shea Todd. Bardan Hughes was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. Beamard Robinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Ramsey having to interfere. Brian Ramsey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duff Costello, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Ryon Callaghan hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Bairee Perth took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Brian Ramsey. Monasteroris FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donahue McLiam in the 28th minute of play forced Monasteroris FC's goalkeeper Brian Ramsey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Edwin McGlynn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brian Ramsey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duff Costello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donahue McLiam stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Brian Ramsey managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Tawny AFC's Donahue McLiam fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Duff Costello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Ramsey having to interfere. In the 59th minute Duff Costello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brian Ramsey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute, Críostóir McLaughlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Ciarán Todd's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enda McFrancise was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. In the 75th minute, Beamard Robinson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 81st minute Ciarán Todd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enda McFrancise saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute Monasteroris FC were awarded a corner. Ryon Callaghan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Monasteroris FC's Ryon Callaghan to fire away a dangerous shot which Enda McFrancise despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A hard shot by Críostóir McLaughlin from long distance, 85 minutes into the match, got Brian Ramsey's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Donahue McLiam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brian Ramsey having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beamard Robinson got free with Brian Ramsey in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Beamard Robinson hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. A collision led to Monasteroris FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Bras Dillon hit a great ball. If Donahue McLiam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tawny AFC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Monasteroris FC to leave the ground with a draw.
