Spectators: 6767 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1767, VIP seats: 0) Cloonbannin's Darragh Costello started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cloonbannin's Aubrey John played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Finian McPhilip in the 3rd minute of play. Darragh Costello took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brite Keegan. Brite Keegan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 12 minutes, David McBjarton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cloonbannin's supporters crossed their fingers, but David McBjarton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David McBjarton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Brite Keegan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Finian McPhilip in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aubrey John prevented the ball from getting in the gole. David McBjarton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Brite Keegan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 25 minutes, Richard Silke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Millroad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Silke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brite Keegan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darragh Costello in the 29th minute of the match. When Cloonbannin's Darragh Costello in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Millroad's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darragh Costello in the 34th minute of play forced Millroad's goalkeeper Brite Keegan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Richard Silke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Cloonbannin were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd match minute, Millroad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gill McVictor to maneuver through the defense. Buach Perth was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Millroad's Brite Keegan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darragh Costello in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 58 minutes, David McBjarton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cloonbannin's supporters crossed their fingers, but David McBjarton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th minute Cloonbannin were awarded a corner. Buach Perth went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darragh Costello in the 68th minute of play forced Millroad's goalkeeper Brite Keegan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darragh Costello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brite Keegan having to interfere. Aubrey John stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Finian McPhilip's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Aron Gillmour hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the game, Richard Silke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Millroad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cloonbannin the free kick. David McBjarton in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Brite Keegan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 88th minute, David McBjarton made a precise shot to the right of Brite Keegan. Millroad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 92nd match minute, Millroad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barran Glen Crowe to maneuver through the defense. David McBjarton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Brite Keegan made a huge save. A collision led to Millroad getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Torey Willson hit a great ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cloonbannin eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
