Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Clogga's Brak Hutton started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Banban McTommy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piers Martyn in the 4th minute of the match. After having played for 5 minutes, Piers Martyn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lugnadeffa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Piers Martyn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 11 minutes Clogga's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Louie Silke who took care of the corner kick. After a defensive mix-up in Clogga's zone, Piers Martyn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Banban McTommy came out of the goal and Piers Martyn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dermot Dunne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George McIan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brak Hutton in the 21st minute of play forced Lugnadeffa's goalkeeper George McIan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Brak Hutton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. George McIan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dermot Dunne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. George McIan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Banban McTommy made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Rowen Todd sent off a good shot on target. Dermot Dunne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George McIan having to interfere. George McIan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dermot Dunne, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After having played for 45 minutes, Brak Hutton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Herich Robinson's late challenge caught a Lugnadeffa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Herich Robinson helped the player get up and apologised. After 54 played minutes Clogga got a freekick which was hit by Herich Robinson. When Bercnan Dimson fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clogga's protests and gave Bercnan Dimson a yellow card for diving instead. Bercnan Dimson kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Lugnadeffa's Louie Silke couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 56th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Clogga. George McIan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brak Hutton, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Piers Martyn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lugnadeffa's supporters rose to their feet, but Piers Martyn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Banban McTommy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lugnadeffa's Rowen Todd got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Lugnadeffa booed when Clogga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bercnan Dimson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rowen Todd came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Lugnadeffa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rowen Todd couldn't finish the play. Banban McTommy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rowen Todd, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Herich Robinson hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Clogga's Banban McTommy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piers Martyn in the 88th minute of play. Banban McTommy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Piers Martyn in the 90th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Clogga's goal looked a bit too open when Rowen Todd came free, but Banban McTommy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clogga's Banban McTommy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Piers Martyn in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lugnadeffa fans cheered their team off the field, for while Clogga had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
